This one of the simplest treats I know that uses espresso. Affogato, which means: ‘I’m drowning.’ In this case it’s ice cream drowning - in espresso!
‘Affogato’ Ice Cream & Coffee
2 shots of freshly brewed espresso
2 scoops premium vanilla ice cream
Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream into a small coffee or espresso cup. Top with a shot of freshly brewed espresso and serve immediately. Enjoy the changing textures and temperatures as the hot espresso and cold ice cream combine!
